CFS Associate Program Continues Growth

CFS Engineers is excited to announce the promotion of five staff members to Associate level. These

individuals will serve in an advisory role to the Board, and will participate in various company

committees. The following team members have joined the Associates Program.

Morrissey

 

 

 

 

Michael Morrissey, PE—Topeka, KS

Michael joined the Topeka Roads and Development Department in 2012. He has

over 19 years of experience as a roadway designer and project manager, and is a

graduate of the University of Kansas. He has contributed to various projects from

managing a 12-million dollar annual maintenance program, to design-build,

construction observation and public relations. Michael is also involved in

professional organizations and community programs including Kansas Society of

Professional Engineers, American Public Works Association, American Society of

Civil Engineers and the middle school program MATHCOUNTS.

 

 

Gaspers

 

 

 

 

Aaron Gaspers, PE—Lawrence, KS

Aaron joined CFS in 2012 as lead engineer and office manager of the newly

opened Lawrence office. He has over 16 years of experience in design for a

variety of projects for private and municipal agencies, and is a graduate of the

University of Kansas. He has been responsible for the design of stormwater

runoff and associated enclosed systems, water distribution systems, permitting,

project management and construction management projects. Aaron continues to

expand CFS’ presence in the City of Lawrence and surrounding areas including

currently managing the improvements to Kasold Drive from Bob Billings Parkway

to 6th Street for the City of Lawrence Public Works Department.

 

 

Polk

 

 

 

 

Todd Polk, PE—Branson, MO

Todd has over 25 years’ experience providing civil engineering and design

services. He began his career in the industry as a draftsman while completing his

civil engineering degree at the University of Missouri. He continued work as a

Project Engineer, and founded a small Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm.

In 2013, he joined CFS to assist with the development of the Southwest Missouri

regional offices. His entry level experience provides a process understanding that

results in a leadership skill set that benefits any project. Mr. Polk has extensive

experience in land planning, public presentation, residential and commercial site

design, sidewalk, trail and recreation design, storm drainage analysis and design,

roadway and utility infrastructure design, land disturbance, water quality design,

permitting, and military facility design. Todd is a registered Professional Engineer

in Missouri and Kansas and a member of the Missouri Society of Professional

Engineers.

 

 

Williams

 

 

 

 

Luke Williams, PE—Kansas City, MO

Luke joined CFS in 2004 and is a graduate of Kansas State University. He serves as

Project Engineer on road, site development, waterline and sewer projects. His

roles require the design and management of project specific tasks as well as

construction document development. Duties include planning and design, cost

estimating, coordination with utilities and land owners, coordination with bidders

and contractors, preparation of studies, design plans and specifications as well as

project oversight and quality control. Luke is a registered Professional Engineer in

Kansas and Missouri and a member of the American Public Works Association.

 

 

Stafford

 

 

 

 

William Stafford, PE—Kansas City, KS

William joined CFS in 2008, has 41 years of experience in the geotechnical

engineering field, and is licensed in 8 states. He holds a Bachelor of Science

degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of South Carolina, a

Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic

Institute and professional registrations at both the American Concrete Institute

and Concrete Promotional Group. He has extensive engineering experience in

both civil and geotechnical engineering projects throughout the country with the

last 16 years focused in Kansas City and the surrounding areas. He has performed

pavement evaluations on hundreds of retail, commercial and transportation projects. His foundation

experience includes footing, piles, piers, mats and various soil improvement methods for all types of

construction projects.
