2021 Promotions Jimmy Adams

Jimmy Adams joined CFS in 2019 to lead the Topeka area geotechnical investigations, laboratory and field materials testing and special inspections department. He has 22 years of materials testing and inspection experience and recently helped provide slope stabilization recommendations for Potter Lake located at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. This project has been studied since the early 1990’s and Jimmy’s team was chosen by the University to perform the sensitive testing and inspections, including site benching and the addition of drilled piers and tie back anchors. Jimmy was recently involved in the acquisition of a new wireline drill rig to expand CFS’ geotechnical capabilities in the region. Jimmy also serves as a board member for the Kansas City section of the American Welding Society, of which he is a past chairman.
